What is Jamu confinement massage?
Jamu is a herbal tradition from this region, used for generations to care for women after childbirth. A Jamu confinement massage combines massage with warm herbal preparations (oils, compresses and wraps) over a series of days rather than a single visit.
Do I have to travel anywhere?
No. This is a home-visit service. The portable bed, the binder and the herbal products are all brought to you and set up in your own room.
How long is each session?
90 minutes, and there are seven of them across the package.
What is the shaping binder?
A customised binder that is fitted to you, to support your recovery with a perfect fit. It is part of the package, not an add-on.
When should I get in touch?
Message us your due date on WhatsApp and we will take it from there.
When is the best time to start postnatal massage?
Every mother recovers differently. For a normal delivery, postnatal massage may begin within 5–7 days after delivery. After a Caesarean delivery, begin after 21 days, subject to your recovery and medical advice.
